Comfortboxen was founded in 2012 by Mats-Åke Johansson in Halmstad. The company was then called AD Production. With the concept of being able to store, transport and mainly be able to charge a larger number of units at the same time for the schools that want to share computers, Mats-Åke developed the first charging trolley.

The Comfortboxen brand originated in Halmstad when Mats-Åke started the company AD production in 1992. He then saw as a teacher how iPads were used in school teaching. In order to be able to serve several teaching groups with a limited number of toads, he realized that the need to be able to store, transport and charge several units in a simple and convenient way was great. The goal was to design a trolley that was easy to drive, agile and durable, in other words "comfortable".

The first Comfortbox was shown at the Sett fair in Kista 2012, this was our smallest model with room for 10 pcs. iPads. The interest in the fair was great and it also turned out that there was a need for larger carriages for half and full class sets. Our goal then was to create a larger, easy-to-drive wagon that can drive over thresholds and other obstacles in a smooth manner. We then created a trolley with extra large rear wheels and the large rear wheels have also since become something of the Comfortbox's hallmark.

Over the years and according to customers 'wishes, more sizes have been developed and our range now fills the schools' needs for different models. With that, we now also manufacture trolleys that fit laptops and Chromebooks with the same concept of flexibility of storage, Charging and Transportation.

During these 6 years, the comfort box has manufactured and delivered almost 3,000 units to schools around Scandinavia. Today, we have over 150 municipalities as satisfied customers around Sweden and have also expanded in the past year and now also sell products in Finland, Norway and Denmark.
